Our youth ministry aims to provide a fun and safe environment for students in grade 6- 12.
We want you to experience God, become more like him and impact the community you are a part of.
We also hope that Oasis can be a refreshing break from everything you deal with in the world from day to day.
Leadership - Justina Hammill / Family Pastor
A friendly, outgoing person who loves hanging with youth of all ages, Justina has a passion for God and loves to reach out to more people. Her openness makes it easy for the youth to tackle tough real life questions together with her and gives the parents the assurance to work with her in investing in the lives of their kids.
"I am so glad to be here at Elim Chapel. God has given me a passion for young people and it's great that I can have so much fun and be used by Him to help make a difference in teen's lives. First and foremost God is the center and love of my life. Not that I have it all figured out. Ask the kids, I'm human. I'm still being transformed into God's likeness. But the key is I'm continuing to grow and learn. My desire is to be like Jesus. Thank goodness he is so loving and forgiving!
Things I love: potato chips, spending time with my family, the tilt a whirl, my husband Geoff (married 22 years), my kids, dairy queen ice cream cakes, dogs, jumping at concerts, singing, loud Christian music, spending time with friends, being silly, chick flicks, and laughing out loud.
Things I hate: green leafy vegetables, roller coasters, cats (well... not so much now that three have adopted our family), scary movies, bran snacks, country music, high places, and spiders."
